Baristas Rec: Cold-brewed Iced Coffee

Hello, coffee lovers! I shared a recipe on Instagram yesterday that I thought I should make a blog post out of if you don't happen to follow the blog's Instagram!

I'm a huge fan of iced coffee (especially during the summer when it feels like it's too hot to even breathe) and I've been dying to try this recipe for a while so I finally did, and I'm in LOVE. I may never brew coffee regularly again! (that's a lie, I love my Kuerig too much to abandon it)

What I Used:
1 liter glass container of water
▪ 5 tablespoons of regular coffee grinds (not instant!)

Mix the grinds in the water and let it sit. I covered the container and left it in the fridge overnight to brew for more than 10+ hours (I sleep a LOT) The results were delicious!! Because the grinds are inside the water, you have to filter the water (you can use an actual coffee filter and pour the coffee over a mug/glass/whatever you prefer). Just make sure to gets those grinds out before drinking!

My idea of a perfect iced coffee has:
 2 tbs of sugar
 1/4 cup of cream
▪ a bit of vanilla syrup
▪ whipped cream to top!

Now that I'm armed with my coffee, the day can commence.

If you try out this recipe, let me know how it goes! What's your idea of a perfect iced coffee?
