Meet the Bloggers

Natasha Minoso@tinytashhxo

Hello, book lovers! I'm a marketer by day at Penguin Random House and a blogger the rest of the time. I decided to start this blog because I wanted to give back to all of the authors who wrote the stories that I couldn't get enough of. Writing reviews, promoting my favorite reads and sharing the occasional giveaway is the least I can do as a reader.

My favorite reading genres have been expanding lately so I’m really into New Adult, Young Adult, Adult Fiction, suspense, and thrillers. I'm not a huge fan of paranormal, and am just starting to get into fantasy.

When I’m not reading (which is never), I’m usually watching every single Ellen and Jimmy Fallon YouTube clip I can find, or I’m listening to some fantastic tunes on Spotify.

I hope you enjoy my reviews, and I hope I can lead you to your next favorite read! Feel free to contact me whenever—I love personally recommending books so I’ll be happy to do that for you!

Keep up with my never-ending TBR list and me on Goodreads ;)

Contributing Writers

Alexandra Fernandez → @alexmfern

Hello, fellow bookworms! My name is Alexandra Fernandez, but please call me Alex. I'm a junior at the University of Florida majoring in journalism and minoring in women's studies. I'm passionate about writing, social justice and short hair.

When I'm not writing stories for the local paper or studying for school, I love to read, binge watch TV, yell about Harry Styles on the internet and try to be funny. Give me a Twix, and I'll love you forever. I love books with diverse, complicated characters. If you know of any books that feature LGBTQ+ people, people of color, gender non-conforming people, people with disabilities or any other ethnic, cultural or religious minorities, please send them my way!

I love being a part of the Book Baristas team because I get to share books that touch my heart and make me think about things bigger than myself. I hope you enjoy reading my thoughts, and I hope you send me yours too! Feel free to reach out to me on Twitter or through email, and keep up with what I'm reading on Goodreads.

Lindsay McVay → @lindsaucy

Hello, readers! My name is Lindsay McVay, and I like jumping out of planes in my spare time. I’m a sophomore in college majoring in writing and rhetoric, and minoring in magazine journalism. I enjoy reading new adult books, or frankly anything written by K.A. Tucker (she is my queen).

My life revolves around anything and everything creative. I love singing my heart out at concerts, dirtying up my hands while drawing charcoal portraits, and reading any book recommendations that come my way. I reside in Florida, but living out of a suitcase is not at all uncommon for me.

I’m so excited to be a contributing writer for Book Baristas, as it lets me express my love for the amazing stories I read. Please do not hesitate to contact me via Twitter, Instagram, or Goodreads! I look forward to sharing my thoughts on all things books and taking part in the Book Baristas experience!
